Backup agent has not detected the computer
The IDrive BMR device is designed to automatically detect and register computers that have the agent software installed. It takes the backup agent a few seconds to detect the computer. If it takes longer, click on the top-right to force-detect computers via IP for issue resolution.
For further assistance, go to Add Device > Windows and click Having trouble adding a client?.
Error after installing the 5.0.1 backup agent on Windows 7 SP1

CBT backup issues during backup agent installation on Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows SBS 2011
Upon installing the backup agent on Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows SBS 2011, you may encounter issues with CBT backups due to a failure in loading the CBT driver.
To resolve this issue, install the following Windows updates:
- Download and install the update for Win 2008R2 (KB976932)
- Download and install the update for Windows 2008R2 x64-based systems (KB3033929)
- Download and install the update for Windows 2008R2 x64-based systems (KB3123479)
