Monitor IDrive BMR device backup using a predefined set of alarms. View device operation details, inspect the cause of any issue, and get the necessary information for troubleshooting. The alarm types are classified at the operational level; backup, restore, cloud replication, cloud seeding, computer groups, etc.
View alarms
View the alarms at global, company, and device levels.
The alarm page displays the name of the company where the alarm is attached, the IDrive BMR device associated with the alarm, the device/share name, and the time, details, and type of the alarm.
Search for an alarm or filter an alarm based on its severity, type, or duration.
- Click View Report to view reports of the alarms.
- Click Email Report to send email reports on alarms to any number of recipients in CSV/PDF formats.
- Click Export to export the alarms in CSV and PDF formats.
Global view of alarms
To view alarms globally, sign in to the IDrive BMR partner portal and navigate to User Reports > IDrive®
BMR > Backup Status. Click the Alarms widget in the Backup Status section.
Use the filter on the Alarms page to switch to the company-level view of alarms.
Company-level view of alarms
To view alarms at the company level, sign in to the IDrive BMR partner portal and navigate to User Reports > IDrive® BMR > User Report. Click the Alarms widget corresponding to a client company in the User Report section.
Use the filter on the Alarms page to switch to the device-level view of alarms.
Device-level view of alarms
To view alarms at the device level, sign in to the IDrive BMR partner portal and navigate to
User Reports > IDrive® BMR > User Report, and click the required client company name to display the list of the associated devices. Click the Alarms widget corresponding to a device.
Active alarms
Manage active alarms at the device level.
To access the active alarms,
- Sign in to the IDrive BMR partner portal.
- Go to User Reports > IDrive® BMR on the LHS menu.
- Click the client company name under User Report. The list of devices associated with the specific client company appears.
- Click the required IDrive BMR device. The dashboard for the particular IDrive BMR device appears.
- Click Active Alarms in the sub-LHS menu of the device dashboard to view active alarms at the device level.
